Parking at Heligan

Please do not park in the first car park as you enter the grounds. All 'Stroll Back' walkers must park in the overflow car park field below Lobbs Farm Shop. During the busy periods, please do not park in the gravelled area, which is for paying visitors to the site. We do not want to take advantage of this facility and forgo the opportunity to walk in the area.

Parking at St Austell Rugby Club

We have been informed that we are now obliged to pay a fee to continue to use the Rugby Club car park as the meeting place for our walks. (To be fair, we have been very lucky over the last years that no charge was ever required).

To meet this requirement, with immediate effect, we will require that each time you attend a walk commencing from the Rugby Club you make a 50 pence contribution towards meeting these costs. (This is exactly the same as the current payment we make at Wheal Martyn).

The Rugby Club have agreed that we will be able to have the use of their facilities (toilets in the main building) on each of our walk visits.

Parking at Wheal Martyn

The 50p paid at Wheal Martyn is a courtesy contribution, as we are walking within the grounds for which there is normally an entry fee.
